Rock duos seem to be all the rage right now. Straight from Belgium, Black Box Revelation, bring their brand of garage rock to your ears. They are touring with Beady Eye this winter, with stops in San Francisco and LA on December 2 and December 3. Even if Beady Eye isn’t your thing and you spent last week camped outside of UCLA’s Royce Hall, Black Box Revelation make a strong case for your time. Check out their latest video for “High On A Wire”.
The band consist of lead singer Jan Paternoster and drummer Dries Van Dijck. They’ll be releasing their debut album in the US, My Perception, in early 2012. With 100s of thousands of views around the world, their You Tube videos prove that the band is catching on across the globe. With a sound reminiscent of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and a sarcastic snarl in Paternoster’s voice, we like what we are hearing. Check out “High On A Wire” here, and let us know what you think.
