Ranger Dave is back with another event in Golden Gate Park! True to form, Outside Lands will land in San Francisco in early August; the 9th-11th to be exact. Although no lineup has been announced yet, we can expect the staples currently touring the festival circuit, and at least one headliner to pull in a multi-generational crowd. Tickets for Outside Lands go on sale Thursday, April 4.
Dare we dream enough to hope Daft Punk will fill the headlining spot at Twin Peaks Saturday night? The past two years brought us Deadmau5 and Skrillex, and with a buzz about a new album swirling around, Daft Punk will be the It duo this summer. Will Violent Femmes hit San Francisco so soon after appearing at BottleRock? Can we expect reunited synth-pop sweets The Postal Service? Or will New Order pull in the masses?
A few things we can be sure about: expect another set of great Night Shows, available exclusively to pass-holders; a great mix of music to cross generational borders; exquisite food and beverage choices from all the best local eateries; and a great damn time!
For now, let the speculations run — who do you think will play amidst the fog and great bites and drinks from Bay Area vendors?
While you’re pontificating on the music greats of 2013, be sure to grab an Eager Beaver ticket on Thursday, April 4 at Noon, sharp. A limited number of three-day passes are available for $195 on Thursday, and once those are sold out, three-day passes will be available for $215 for a short period of time.
You can purchase tickets at the Outside Lands website.
