As fellow RB writer Steph wrote in her Riot Fest preview, festival season is definitely not over! For all of you LA residents, you don’t need to drive out to a valley, board a cruise ship (as great as that sounds), or book a plane flight: This weekend the festival comes to you. The Sunset Strip Music Festival (SSMF) takes over the famed strip of legendary music venues to bring you a 2-day outdoor street festival featuring over 70 artists including Empire of the Sun, Destructo, and the legendary Jane’s Addiction.
The Sunset Strip is the heart of the LA Music Scene with fabled music venues like the Viper Room, House of Blues, Roxy, and the Whisky a Go Go. The street where Mötley Crüe, Metallica, Guns & Roses, and The Doors got started welcomes a new generation of artists (and of course Jane’s Addiction) to celebrate the history of live music in this iconic guitar shredding drag of Los Angeles.
Tickets are still available
