Universal City, California- Those funky chickens are back at it again! “Strictly Poultry”, LA’s premier brass funk band, is taking the stage once again at Howl at the Moon Dueling Piano Bar on Universal Citywalk this Wednesday, June 7th at 9PM. After a long year of touring and performing all throughout southern California, the band is happy to be back at this beautiful venue just outside of Universal Studios!
“It’ll be a warm summer night on Citywalk,” says Aaron Little, the band’s lead vocalist and senior Poultry-Man. “People are gonna want to come out and party and we’re here to provide the soundtrack. We’ll get ‘em on the floor dancing!”
The band’s unique sound of brass and woodwind mixed with a traditional drum and bass rock combo harkens back to an age where live performance was where the music really came alive, and the band’s uptempo funk/rock/reggae/hip-hop show is a perfect fit for the fabled Howl at the Moon stage. They’ve played here once before, and the result was resounding success.
“It’s an amazing stage,” says Daniel Law, a lawyer who practices in downtown Los Angeles but also plays alto saxophone with the group. “Great sound, great lighting, and always a great crowd. We’re thrilled to be back!”
“Come,” says Mauricio Giraldo, head bassist and Keeper of Poultry. “It will be good.”
Come see Strictly Poultry bring down the house! They promise a night you won’t soon forget!
