Have you completely forgotten about Oasis and the Gallagher brothers? Well, we almost did too. But Noel is about to break back onto the music scene. Noel’s solo project ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ is set to release its debut album this Monday, October 17th in the UK, Europe and Latin America, and then finally in North America on November 8th (thanks a lot). In anticipation of this drop date, Noel and his label Sour Mash Records are streaming a playback of the album featuring video footage taken from the making of the documentary ‘It’s Never Too Late To Be What U Might Have Been.’ Side Two will only be live on the site from now until 11am tomorrow (Friday), so you better check it out soon!
Side Two:
AKA… What A Life!
Soldier Boys And Jesus Freaks
AKA… Broken Arrow
(Stranded On) The Wrong Beach
Stop The Clocks
Also, the video for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ new single ‘AKA… What A Life!’, which was filmed in California, Arizona and New Mexico, has been stirring up some hype due to an outrageous performance by Russell Brand. The video was co-directed by Mike Bruce and Blake West, who worked with Noel on the video for ‘The Death Of You And Me’. Of course, we can’t show you the video because it has only been made available to fans in the UK and Ireland (this is getting ridiculous). We’ll get it to you when we can, but our patience with all these games, Noel, is running thin.
