Five for Fighting (the stage name of American singer-songwriter John Ondrasik), best known for his early 2000’s sing along piano rock songs like “Superman (It’s Not Easy)”, has released a new album Bookmarks and is joining the new wave of artists releasing their music for free online. Check out the new album and a new video after the jump and see if the LA-based songsmith can recapture that new millennium magic.
Stream the entire album Bookmarks on Amazon here.
This is Ondrasik’s 6th studio album and the 4th since 2000’s America Town that put him on the map. He has two platinum records (America Town and 2004’s The Battle for Everything) and reached as high as 8th on the U.S. charts (2006’s Two Lights), but for the first time since America Town in 2000 he is back working with music collaborator Gregg Wattenberg which only raises expectations.
