These rocking chicks from the San Fernando Valley have taken the recent festival tour by storm with a packed schedule at this year’s Lollapalooza and a RB featured performance coming up at Outside Lands. Deap Vally’s raw high energy blues-rock sound draws comparisons to a female driven White Stripes with biker bar attitude. They are returning home for their only LA tour date at the legendary Troubadour on Tuesday, August 13. Check them out after the jump, but don’t stare too long.
Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards formed Deap Vally in 2011 and released their first single “Gonna Make My Own Money” in 2012. Their videos are dripping with booze, legs, attitude, and killer guitar riffs that scream of rebellion. They are brand new, releasing their first album Sistrionix on iTunes in June of this year, and they released the new music video for their song “Bad For My Body” TODAY.
