The Jesus and Mary Chain are making their way through California this month, with two very awesome opportunities to see them perform live. San Francisco is being graced with a Fillmore performance on the 14th, and Los Angeles gets a very different setting with Hollywood Park (yes, those race tracks you’ve hear about) and an outside show. Ticket info after the jump, for what looks like only a handful of shows from The Jesus and Mary Chain.
The Magic Wands will be joining the band in San Francisco for their show at San Francisco’s most historic venue. While we love the Fillmore, we are pretty stoked on the Hollywood Park show as well. There’s something awesome about outside shows in the middle of the summer. Hollywood Park also has X and Jimmy Cliff coming into town for their Friday night concert series, but we’ll get to those later. You can’t buy tickets online for the Hollywood Park concerts, you just show up and go. We like that. Full ticket info is at the link below, but here’s what you need to know: concert starts at 10:30 PM, $10 admission prior to 8:30 PM and $20 admission after 8:30 PM, parking is free. Summer is here.
