Mark Lanegan returns with his latest album Imitations on September 17th. He’s following the album release up with a limited US tour encompassing only 8 dates around the country before heading to Europe. You can catch Lanegan at his first live show in support of Imitations on October 4th at The Troubadour. We know it’s still August, but trust us when we say this show is close to selling out already. Mark’s a big deal in these parts, and without a San Francisco show scheduled, this Troubadour date might be his only California stop for awhile. Tickets and show preview here.
Mark Lanegan has been busy this summer. He released a collborative effort with English blues rocker Duke Garwood called Black Pudding in May. Then there was the special Record Store Day release in April with Moby. Yes, that Moby.
The fall looks to be even busier with Imitations less than a month away from release. We had good words for Lanegan’s last solo effort- Blues Funeral which you can read the review for here. Lanegan will be joined by opening act Sean Wheeler (Throw Rag) and Zander Schloss (Circle Jerks, The Weirdos). You know the type of fans that will be there in October, and you know tickets won’t be available for too much longer. Grab them while you can, and check back here for more on this show and Imitations.
