This July 4th weekend, Fort Mason is hosting what might be the best electronic music show this summer to hit the Bay Area. Touring on the release of his banging new album, Drive, Gareth Emery is taking the stage with Morgan Page, 3LAU, Ummet Ozcan, Tony Junior, Christina Novelli, and special guest Arty for a full six hours of music starting at 4pm this Saturday. Six. Hours. With such an incredible lineup and running time, not much else really needs to be said about this show, but nonetheless, here’s a brief preview of the headlining artists.
Gareth Emery’s reputation precedes him, as he is one of the most critically acclaimed DJs in the world. He created his first track at age 22, and was inducted into the DJMag Top 100 before turning 30. He also refuses to be typecast, and dabbles in trance, house, electro, and techno – whatever fits the mood. He’s a master of the decks, and has his own weekly Friday show (at 6pm PST) on Sirius XM, “Gareth Emery Presents,” where he consistently gives that perfect mix to get you pumped up for the weekend on your way home from work. His new album, Drive, is a fantastic compilation of music, covering the full spectrum of emotions, from the intensely sensual “Lights & Thunder,” co-produced with EDM heavyweights Krewella, to the introspective and uplifting “Long Way Home.” Check out both songs below:

It’s also worth listening to “Dynamite,” as it features Christina Novelli, who will be taking the stage earlier in the evening:

Morgan Page was actually just discussed earlier this week in another Rabbits Black feature regarding must-see DJs on the upcoming LA Groove Cruise, which you can find here, but honestly, not enough can be said about this guy. He is a true standard-bearer in the electro scene, and like Emery, has his own widely listened to Sirius XM radio show, “In the Air,” which recently had its 162nd episode, and is still going strong as ever. Make sure to listen to Page’s ridiculously awesome remix of The Outfield – Your Love, below:

Next up we have Arty, who like nearly everyone playing at this show, has experienced a furiously rapid ascension to fame and innumerable success. He made his entrance in the EDM scene in 2009 with the jams of “Gentle Touch,” “Get On,” and “Flip Flop.” Immediately thereafter, he was picked up by Anjunabeats — the legendary label created by none other than Above & Beyond — and has been making moves ever since. He has played on all of the biggest festival stages, including Ultra Music Festival, Identity Festival, Electric Zoo Festival, Fallout Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival and more. And it should come as no surprise that he too has his own Sirius XM radio show, “Together We.” Check out his 2011 jam with Mat Zo, titled “Mozart”:

Justin “3LAU” (pronounced “Blau”), while best known for his steady string of mashups, has recently upped his game a notch when he began producing his own tracks. And the reception couldn’t have been any better for the 21 year old college junior (yeah…he’s currently only moonlighting as a DJ while he attends Washington University in St. Louis), in light of his #1 remix in Tiesto’s “Work Hard, Play Hard” remix competition, and recent chart-topping single “How You Love Me” featuring Bright Lights:

Did we mention that this is going to be an insane show?
