Alain Johannes, of Queens of the Stone Age, will be playing a special intimate show at the Rhino Records pop-up store in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 11th. The show is a benefit for the MusicCares foundation, and guess what- its FREE!
EDIT 6/3: As Susan informed us in the comments, the show is completely free! So head on down to 10952 Santa Monica Blvd (Westwood Area) for the show and make a donation if you can. Also check out the Facebook invite here: http://on.fb.me/kJe5wd
MusicCares provides assistance for members of the music community in dire need. You can stream the event on your computer for $5, with all proceeds going to charity. Johannes will be playing songs from his first solo album Spark, and with his extensive background in Queens of the Stone Age, you never know what else he may play. This is a great cause and great musician, so you have no reason not to be there!
