Alain Johannes, of Queens of the Stone Age, will be playing a special intimate show at the Rhino Records pop-up store in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 11th. The show is a benefit for the MusicCares foundation, and guess what- its FREE!
EDIT 6/3: As Susan informed us in the comments, the show is completely free! So head on down to 10952 Santa Monica Blvd (Westwood Area) for the show and make a donation if you can. Also check out the Facebook invite here: http://on.fb.me/kJe5wd
MusicCares provides assistance for members of the music community in dire need. You can stream the event on your computer for $5, with all proceeds going to charity. Johannes will be playing songs from his first solo album Spark, and with his extensive background in Queens of the Stone Age, you never know what else he may play. This is a great cause and great musician, so you have no reason not to be there!
Alain Johannes Rhino Records Pop-Up Store Performance – MusicCares Fundraiser
Hey Ronnie, thanks for posting this. The $5 deal at that link is for the live online stream. I guess they only have so much bandwidth to stream.
But in the store it’s open to the public and we have a pretty big capacity, so come on down. We have a suggested donation of at least $5, but of course would love more as it benefits the great work of MusiCares who help musicians and other music folks in need.
We are at 10952 Santa Monica Blvd in the Westwood area of LA. The invite for this show is at http://on.fb.me/kJe5wd and we’d love for people to check out all our other shows and info at https://www.facebook.com/RhinoRecordsPopUp.
Hope to see you there!
Thanks Susan! We fixed the post. We’ve been to some MusicCares fundraisers before and they have been fantastic. This show is highly recommended!
