DJ, dance music producer, bandleader, and co-founder of Ghostly International, Matthew Dear has released his latest work, Headcage EP. Working with Stockholm producers Van Rivers and the Subliminal Kid of Fever Ray, this EP slightly strays from Dear’s previous sounds.
Headcage EP has a much broader array of synths mixing both Dears’, Van Rivers and the Subliminal Kid’s sounds beautifully. Also making an appearance on the EP is Jonny Pierce of the Drums on the track “In the Middle (I Met You There).” This track is the most “danciest” track out of the four songs. Definitely give Headcage EP a listen and find out for yourselves!
