Markus Schulz announces new artist album “Scream”

It’s been over 2 years now since Markus Schulz released his last artist album- 2010’s Do You Dream.  Earlier this year, Markus released one of Trance music’s best compilations of the year with Los Angeles 2012.  To say Markus has been busy this year in the studio and on tour is an understatement.  Just when you thought 2012 couldn’t get better for the Schulz army, we get the announcement of Scream!  The new Markus Schulz albums drops this August!  Info after the jump.

Scream is slated for an August 24th release.  That’s about all we know for now.  The cover art has been revealed, and for long time Schulz fans, you’ve seen this visceral reaction and expression on Markus’ face during live shows many times before.  The cover art does a great job of capturing what Markus’ music is all about- high energy trance that is captivating and adventurous, and makes your soul jump from your body!  Scream promises to bring in the best talent the EDM world has to offer, and Rabbits Black promises to bring you the latest on Markus’ fourth studio album, including song previews and the “Scream World Tour”  details.

In case you didn’t know, Markus is having a gigantic 2012.  Residencies around the world (our favorite being Marquee in Las Vegas of course!), constant touring, one of the few DJs who can mix it up at dayclubs and nightclubs and still be at his best, Los Angeles 2012 compilation, and now a new artist album with Scream!  There’s no way Markus is not shooting up the charts in the famous DJ Mag Top 100 DJs ranking this year.  Well, there is one way… and that’s if you don’t show your support.  Vote here for your favorite artists, and make your voice heard in 2012’s world DJ rankings.
