A Place To Bury Strangers are fast approaching the release of their new album Worship on Dead Oceans on June 26th. The new album was produced and written by the band- they had full control over this one and it shows. The songs on this album are the purest form of APTBS music. Today we have the second single from the album available for you- “And I’m Up”. A dizzying journey with an accessible tone but the classic fuzz of the band.
We’ve taken a few listens to Worship already, and we have to admit it’s ringing in our ears with sweet success right now. We’ll have a full review up next week. Get a good taste of what’s in store for you at the end of this month with “And I’m Up”. Singer Oliver Ackermann portrays a running narrative over a sea of sound created by those signature Death By Audio ‘Fuzz War’ effects pedals and the driving force that is Dion Lunadon on bass.
A Place To Bury Strangers plays tomorrow night at the Echoplex in LA. Get tickets and read our LA show preview here. They’ll follow that up with a show at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco on Friday night.
