Jane’s Addiction partners with Citi for a two-night concert series in Chicago, LA, NYC; New release date for The Great Escape Artist

Jane’s Addiction will celebrate the release of their new album, The Great Escape Artist, with a return to the legendary Chicago venue, the Cabaret Metro, where they launched their groundbreaking album Nothing’s Shocking almost twenty-three years ago.

The September 24th and 25th 2011 shows kick off a unique two-night concert series at venues in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City. Citi will be offering exclusive pre-sale tickets for Chicago show. Read on for tour dates and more.

Tickets for the Chicago Metro show go on sale to the general public Saturday September 10th.

Want a little VIP treatment? Jane’s Addiction has partnered with Citi to offer exclusive pre-sales and ticket packages for these shows as well as exclusive VIP packages, custom launch show merchandise, and “unique opportunities to interact with the band” through Citi’s Private Pass Program. If you don’t have a Citi card, we’d recommend you get friendly with someone who does: Citi cardholders have access to tickets for the Chicago Metro show beginning Tuesday, September 6th at 10 AM central time. And you’ll have to catch one of these shows if you want to be the first of your friends to hear the new album – the release date for The Great Escape Artist has been pushed back and is now set for Tuesday, October 18th.
