Its time! The Groove Cruise — the world’s largest floating dance music festival — is coming to port once again in Los Angeles. After a spectacular inaugural voyage last year (see the full RB review here) the creative minds at Whet Travel decided to go even bigger this year. GCLAX will be held on The Golden Princess which is a significant upgrade from last year’s cruise ship. The Princess has 1,318 cabins, 738 cabins with private balconies, sleeping up to 4 of your best friends. With 4 pools, 9 Jacuzzis, 17 decks and 8 different venues, this 5-star vessel is a significant upgrade from last year’s inaugural GCLA!
In 2013, after 9 years of Groove Cruising out of Miami, Whet Travel decided to test the waters in LA — and the water was perfect. The 3-day party cruise became one of the most talked about events of the year with an epic beach party set on Catalina Island by Chuckie, a huge Warehouse rave in Ensenada with Morgan Page, and two full Markus Schulz sets to highlight an all-star lineup.
Now the word is out! And from this video you can see why:

Those 21+ can guarantee their spot on the largest Groove Cruise to date with a $200 refundable deposit during a pre-sale opening on March 5th at 12:00 P.M. EST. Cruise capacity is limited to 3,000, and as always sell out risk is high. Cabins and full pricing will open up to the public starting March 19th at www.TheGrooveCruise.com. Also, just because we completely agree, The Groove Cruise Miami was recently rated Travel Channel’s #1 place in the world to GET YOUR GROOVE ON!

And as always, one of our favorite parts of the Groove Cruise is their dedication to give back to the communities they visit. Most recently, #GCX visited Ciudad de Angeles Orphanage in Cozumel, Mexico to donate clothing, school supplies and toys to some of the most deserving children in the world.
