The Soul Rebels Brass Band is set to release its new album Unlock Your Mind early next year and in the spirit of New Orleans’ famous hospitality they are giving away the first 3 singles for free. The Rebels are a 7 piece brass ensemble steeped in The Big Easy’s famous jazz tradition with a little Mardi Gras funk, jazz and hip-hop mixed into the party. For many in LA this is a new kind of musical experience, so we’re giving you a little taste of what its like to party on Bourbon Street or dance on Frenchman Street. Live jazz music in New Orleans not only provides a link to the city’s cultural heritage but also serves as a celebration of the vibrant and festive culture that thrives to this very day. The Rebels do it as well as anyone and, as usual, everyone is invited to the party!
