Wavves are getting the MTV treatment right now, but luckily for fans it doesn’t seem like the band or Nathan Williams is taking it too serious. The other night at the VMAs, Williams proceeded to make fun of the whole night on Twitter, lie to reporters on the red carpet, sneak in Tyler The Creator’s Mom, and drop acid. Glad to see some things and people don’t change for the MTV machine. I didn’t know MTV actually still played music or music videos, but that’s a different point. Check out Wavves new song, “I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl”. You can even download it and take it home with you today! New Wavves music is always welcome around these parts, even if Williams is working with the soul-suckers at MTV.
