Published by Ryan on

Black Joe Lewis releases new album Electric Slave TODAY. In July we brought you an advance look at Black Joe Lewis’ first single “Come to My Party”. Now we also know when we can see the new material live and in person. Most notably, Joe and the boys will be supporting Electric Slave at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco on Dec. 3 and at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on Dec. 5. Black Joe Lewis has created a lot of buzz with their high energy electric funky blues-rock sets. After the jump you can listen to a little music, buy the album, and check out both the track list and the rest of the band’s tour dates.

“Most of Electric Slave was produced by GRAMMY award winner Stuart Sikes (White Stripes, Cat Power, Modest Mouse) and recorded at Church House Studios in Austin, TX. Three of the new tracks (“Skulldiggin,” “Dar Es Salaam,” “My Blood Ain’t Runnin’ Right”) were recorded and produced by John Congleton (Explosions in the Sky, St. Vincent, Okkervil River) at Elmwood Studios in Dallas.” – According to the Press Release.
