It’s not every day that a new band is announced, and especially not one with artists with a pedigree like this. Everyone welcome Arthur Channel with open arms. The band features the reunion of Alain Johannes and Jack Irons- the original drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and the drummer for the iconic Los Angeles band Eleven. The band is rounded out by Jon Greene on vocals and guitar and Greg Richling of the Wallflowers on bass. That’s a pretty awesome lineup, and one that already has a song for you to check out! Jon Greene’s vocals are clean over a classic Johannes melody, with Irons providing that subtle and steady flow as he always does. Richling’s presence provides that calming nature of a smooth bass line. The sound is mature, experienced and has a dash of soul that is undeniable.
