It’s officially fall and here at Rabbits Black we know its not the changing leaf colors, your little cousin heading back to private school, or the Harvest moon that signifies the changing of the seasons, but the Annual Bridge School Benefit concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. We got our must-see acts and surprise performances in our preview here.
As you may know, the most unique, important, and truly amazing part of this concert is that it benefits the Bridge School,
“a non-profit organization whose mission is to ensure that individuals with severe speech and physical impairments achieve full participation in their communities through the use of augmentative & alternative means of communication (AAC) and assistive technology (AT) applications and through the development, implementation and dissemination of innovative life-long educational strategies. The Bridge School is an internationally recognized leader in the education of children who use augmentative and alternative communication and has developed unique programs and trained highly skilled professionals in the use of state of the art assistive technology.”
This is the 26th year for the all acoustic benefit show and features an intriguing lineup over the two day event, including Bridge School cofounder, (Uncle) Neil Young!
Acts for the 2 day event include some summer festival favorites and some epic surprises:
Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Jack White, The Flaming Lips, Foster the People, Lucinda Williams, Ray LaMontagne, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, Sarah Mclachlan, and ….believe it or not…Guns and Roses.
Just to reemphasize, you heard us right: Jack White! Neil Young! and the Flaming Lips, acoustic!
4 Pack tickets for you and a few friends come in at an affordable $33.75/day. Rabbits Black encourages any and all to check out the Annual Bridge School Benefit website to learn how to donate more.
See you out there!
