Show of the Month Ticket & Album Giveaway: Mark Lanegan Band with Sean Wheeler, Zander Schloss and Lyenn @ El Rey Theatre, November 2nd

Published by Oliver on

Mark Lanegan’s career has been wildly successful.  Most people know Mark as the rotating vocalist for Queens of the Stone in the 90s and early 2000s.  Fair enough- Mark can lay claim to some of our favorite Queen’s songs ever such as “In The Fade”.  What some people don’t know is that Mark’s career began long before Queens.  His first solo album,  The Winding Sheet, was released in 1990.  If you go back to his first band, The Screaming Trees, this world has been blessed with over 30 years of Mark Lanegan music.  Just this month, Mark’s latest album Phantom Radio was released.  You can check out a few tracks below, and even better see the Mark Lanegan Band live at El Rey on November 2nd.  This is our Show of the Month at the El Rey, so we are throwing in something extra.  One winner will receive Mark’s new album Phantom Radio at the show.  See the show, get the music, all on us and our friends at Goldenvoice.
