Debut shows for new bands only happen once.  It’s a special moment for the band and fans- a moment to see a group come together for the first time to present their music to waiting ears.  This Thursday we are giving you the chance to be a part of that moment with Arthur Channel.  We have a few sets of tickets to give away for Arthur Channel’s debut show at The Viper Room on October 27th.  The new band features Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Eleven), Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eleven), Jon Greene, and Greg Richling (The Wallflowers).

Want to go to the show?  We have you covered!  The intimate Viper Room and Rabbits Black are giving you a chance to see Arthur Channel this Thursday.  You can enter the contest in one of 4 ways.  A winner will be chosen from each of the options available, so that means we are picking 4 winners who will get a pair of tickets each!  You can enter only once for each option, but feel free to use all of the options below!  If you want to guarantee your entry, you can purchase tickets right here.

I’ve never been to a Viper Room show before, so this will be the greatest one ever!

The best show I have seen at the Viper Room thus far has to be Star Anna & The Laughing Dogs…another PJ-related connection here (Mike McCready loves these guys and rightfully so). When Star opens her mouth to sing, you feel as if if she doesn’t get out the lyrics, they will disappear. There is a sense of urgency, of meaning, of feeling. She brings back the free-spiritedness of Joplin with a little Fiona Apple growl and you can hear the Springsteen influences. These guys will be huge soon and I am so glad I saw them when at The Viper Room.
