Brooklyn, NY’s Exitmusic — comprised of Devon Church and Aleksa Palladino — will headline at dates across North America this fall, starting September 30 at Il Motore in Montreal and ending with the Moog Festival in Asheville, NC on October 26. They’ll be playing The Satellite in Los Angeles on October 17th. Following this run of North American dates Exitmusic will head overseas for a tour of Europe in November. Exitmusic released their debut album, Passage, on May 22nd. Recorded at Rare Book Room in Brooklyn with mixer Nicholas Vernhes (Dirty Projectors, Deerhunter), Church and Palladino, along with the assistance of new bandmates drummer Dru Prentiss and live electronics by Nicholas Shelestak, built on the chilling, beautiful aesthetic they had created as a duo when recording at home. Once Exitmusic’s eerie, yet undeniably evocative, wave of sound hits you, it’s impact is undeniable.
